Series racing
We run a series of races on Sundays throughout the season, from March to November, under World Sailing and RYA Racing Rules, with a boat and personal handicap system, making the racing competitive and rewarding, and giving everyone the chance to win a trophy. There are opportunities to crew as well as helm.
Exciting and Inclusive Racing Events
At Aquarius Sailing Club all members can take part in races. Whether you are a seasoned sailor or a complete beginner, you are welcome to join us on the water for some friendly competition. Don't worry if you have never raced before. Our experienced sailors will provide guidance and support to help you navigate the course and improve your sailing skills. Crewing opportunities are available.

Our personal handicap system ensures that every participant has a chance to win, regardless of their experience. This makes our racing events both challenging and rewarding.
Recreational Sailing
At Aquarius, we enjoy pottering around in boats. We like coming down to the club of an afternoon, getting a boat rigged and ready, and just appreciating the tranquility of the surroundings and the pleasure in being on the water. There is always someone available to give assistance and guidance, and we have a number of club boats ready to use, free of charge for members. Come down on a Sunday or a Wednesday afternoon during the season to feel the wind in your sails!
